The speech therapist has set up an email address at
Clearview for Kenn. She will check his email with him
at least once a week.

Anyone can send him pictures, jokes or just a message
to be read to him. It is kenn@kenn-info.org

Talk to him about motorcycles and rides,
camping or even hiking. Make sure you put your
first name and last so that when she reads it she
can tell him.

If you want to explain how you know
him that would be great. Thanks.

9/24/08
Praise God! I survived last week even though it was a very hard week emotionally. I'm so glad last week is behind me now. WHEW!!! Just about every day I lost it to emotions, but I'm stronger for having had to go through it and wiser for it. I've learned that I have dominion over by emotions, I had to declare Scripture, and declare I'm not going to participate in it works, also. Sometimes, I still give in to emotions, because they sneak up on me. God has been so good to me. He's given me so many revelations to help me understand so much more than I ever used to. Even Pastor is amazed at the understanding I've gotten through the revelations. The time I spend with God is so precious to me and I just want to spend more with Him. I've had people tell me it shows, because how strong I've become. I feel like I can conquer anything that God puts before me now, after last week. On Fri. morning, I talked with Dr. Ward on the phone. He had raised Kenn's dosage of his pump on Thurs. when he was across the street from Kenn, they want to see if it will stop some of this storming. He said if he raises it any more, it will be just one more time, because now the dosage is just about as high as he dares to go. If we go up much more there is a chance of more side affects happening. He also said that when Kenn goes in for a pump refill in Nov. that he wants to do more botox to relax his right hand, because his index finger and the next finger are looking better, but still tight. When Kenn storms, he has been clenching his hands so tight, that his first 2 fingers of his right hand, has dug into his palm causing the nails to turn black a little. They had to get him another hand splint to keep on most of the time so that he won't have a problem with his fingers any more. Jay, a social worker at Clearview, also called me to tell me I could use a room there so we could have some privacy. First, they need to put a phone or call light in so if I need help with Kenn. Fri. morning and afternoon I was on overload emotionally. I also had all 4 daycare kids. Jenny also told me Fri. afternoon, that the granddaughters are going to try doing it at home before Jenny goes to work. I've had them coming here for approximately 12 years for daycare and homeschooling, so this is going to be a big change for me. I've gotten so attached to them. I already miss them and had to call to talk to each today. Talking with Pastor that afternoon, he explained a lot of what was happening and why. By Fri. night, after such an emotional afternoon I was so exhausted I didn't go to dance or any where. Sun. WNWC announced us sponsoring part of the day for our anniversary and that CD came yesterday. I went to visit Kenn late that afternoon, he was alert for some of it. They had actually done a good job cleaning out his mouth, so it didn't stink. I gave him over 10 spoons of water and then a few spoons of jello, which he swallowed good, but he did frown some. I did cry some in front of him, which made him frown so I explained what I was feeling. I tried twirling him around by holding his hand one at a time, but his arms are quite stiff, so it was awkward. He's been storming, but he went about 3 days with no storming. I still think his body might be starting to work some and he's fighting it, because of the way he's been responding more to me. Esther, talked to her dad on the phone and he frowned at something.
Yesterday, I had my dance lesson in the afternoon. I wore my dress that I got for the Cha-Cha routine to make sure there was no riding up of the dress while dancing. I don't want to be embarrassed in front of people. It worked great and helped me get into the character of it. There's going to be some sexy moves at the end of the routine. I'm coming out of my comfort zone doing the sexy moves, but having fun also. People are going to be so surprised. God bless you all and thank you, thank you so much to you who prayed extra for me last week. It helped so much.
