Tuesday, August 9 update

On the 8/11, it will be 6 long months since the accident.
This past weekend Kenn seemed pretty tired and wanted to doze. 
I talked to the physical therapist today. She will be putting
a cast on his left foot on Friday because his left foot 
is turning towards his right.  They are hoping the cast will 
help straighten it.  The "toning" (tightening up) he has been 
doing during neurostorming has caused some of the foot turning.  
She also said they still want to be careful with his right shoulder. 
There is talk they might be putting a soft cast on his right 
elbow which will be on for 2 hours and off for 2.  This is so 
he doesn't lose the range of motion in it.  They might even put
one on the left.  They aren't sure yet.   They are working on 
helping him to relax on command.  When they tell him to do 
something they think he tries but then he ends up stiffening up.  
He is turning his head some to the right.
