Hello to all!! I visited Kenn, on Sun. 9/26. I took him outside, and we were looking at the sunset. I had said, isn't that a beautiful sunset, and how blessed that he could see it, because there's so many people who can't see it for whatever reason. I also, said it was great that he could hear, and comprehend things, because there are so many people sitting, or laying some where, with their body functions shutting down on them, and some of them in the same place as he is. I also, was saying to him, how their brain is just barely functioning, and some are shutting down to thinking, or comprehending, then a tear ran down his left cheek. I told him, yes, some things aren't working properly yet on him, but they will, and I know it's not easy for you to sit here, and to depend on people to do things for you. I told him, that this really isn't about us, but we need to walk through it, in order, to help others through a similar situation down the road. I told him, that he's a walking testimony, because he's made it through so many tough times since the accident. When he was listening to a CD message, by Pastor, he smiled a small smile. I finally remembered to take the stuff to cut his hair, so it looks better now. He also moved his right arm a little. Pastor has been teaching on accountability, and how it's in every area of our life, but we like to deny it, because it's hard to be accountable. I've found that I really struggle in some areas with having to be accountable. God has shown me why He has me accountable to Pastor, and his wife, so that I don't go on auto-pilot, and mess up, or get lost along the way, or end up in left field some where, because I don't have Kenn to be accountable to right now. The teaching I'm getting is to help me be the best that I can be for God, and to do what is required of me, no matter how hard it might be. Also, to be accountable to God. I'm learning so much, it's unreal, and if I were to tell you everything, it would blow your mind. Thank-you, for the continued prayers, because they are greatly appreciated. I'll be writing about his doctor's visit, as soon as I can. God bless.
