The speech therapist has set up an email address at
Clearview for Kenn. She will check his email with him
at least once a week.

Anyone can send him pictures, jokes or just a message
to be read to him. It is kenn@kenn-info.org

Talk to him about motorcycles and rides,
camping or even hiking. Make sure you put your
first name and last so that when she reads it she
can tell him.

If you want to explain how you know
him that would be great. Thanks.

Tues., Sept. 28, 2010

9/28/10
Greetings!! I thank God for getting me through the day a week ago today, which was our 37th anniversary. It turned out to be quite an emotional day for me. I had things set up with 2 people, to go with me to pick Kenn up a little early in order to bring him into Madison, so that I could spend some time walking him around to places near church, before the service was to begin. One of them had something come up, so they couldn't help pick Kenn up. I had to just let God be God, and provide the right person to help. God showed up, and showed out, because Jeremy wasn't needed at work, so he was able to help pick up his dad. We got going later than I had wanted, so I didn't get him here early enough to take him around. During the service, I got up to give a testimony, and many people there at the service, watched Kenn just sit there in his chair focusing on me intently. Pastor sat watching Kenn focusing on me, and then other people since then have said how they saw him so focused on me, but no one else. I had 2 people call me late in the afternoon, asking if I needed their help, one of them being Shawn, after he was done with work. Both boys helped take him back, and when we took him back, Jeremy drove, so I got to sit next to Kenn. I actually got to put my arm around him, and lean my head on him. It was so nice to sit right next to him, and not have his chair between us. I was talking to him about different things. He was watching me so intently, and every so often, I would see tears coming down his left cheek, and I was even crying a little. Plus, he smiled a little too. The boys went with me to take Kenn back up to his floor. It was hard to leave him there, and on the way back to Madison, I was crying quietly in the back, so the boys wouldn't hear me from the front. I almost told the boys to turn around, and we'll go pick him up, and take him home, but I knew I'm not in any position to take him home to live. It was so emotional for me to leave him there. When I was getting ready for bed I lost it again to crying, but God gave me strength to make it through. Some people had heard on WNWC, that morning, that we were sponsoring half a day for our anniversary. Before we left the house to go get Kenn, Esther had brought some stuff over for me, she brought 2 cards, one of them being one Mason had made, a bouquet of flowers, balloons, and a french silk pie. It made me cry. On the one card, some of the people from church had signed it, and what some had written, was so touching to me. I am so blessed, that God got me through the day. Thanks for the continued prayers. God bless.
