36 years ago today was our big day to get married. It's hard to believe it's been 36 years. I visited Kenn on Sun. the 13th in the evening. He was very alert and focusing. He was even sticking out his tongue, which he hasn't done for a long time. I was standing talking to Kenn by the nurses station before I left. There were 2 CNA's sitting there. I started talking to them too. One of the CNA's was working Aug. 4, when I brought Kenn into Madison. She told me that she thought I had brought back someone different, and not Kenn. She was so amazed at how relaxed and different he acted, and he was focusing too. She also said when they talk to him he'll look at them and then turn away, but she said look at the way he keeps looking at you, and how focused he is on you. She said he NEVER does that for us. He was sitting there sticking out his tongue at me. She was intrigued with the way he responds to me. Last night when I was there, he was alert and focusing. He was sticking out his tongue a little. I could tell he was paying attention when I played a CD with faith confessions on, and then Pastor's message, "The Law of Honor," from yesterday morning for him. Different times when I was talking to him, he had a big frown, and once in awhile it looks like he might be smiling a little, even the CNAs have said that. He was making a few noises when I would talk to him. I dozed while he was sitting there listening to the CDs. Late Fri. afternoon I drove with 2 other women to a Faith Conference in IL. Was that a powerful night. We got back to Madison between 2-3 Sat. morning. It was so worth it. Tomorrow Esther and her family are planning to come to Madison one last time before the baby is due. Being she's high risk, the doctor will be stopping her from going places, other than for short distances starting next month. Yes, I'm still taking dance lessons. I'm working on a waltz routine to the song "3 times a lady." I'm working on technique in the routine. Thanks for all the continued prayers. God Bless.
