I feel I'm to write this from my devotional because it might help someone like it has helped me. David knew he could create a place for God to come down and sit with him during his valley experiences and his mountain victories. Your praise prepares a place for the King of Kings to sit and rule your life. Your praise builds a throne in the heavenlies from which He reigns. Your praise clears out a territorial position in the atmosphere from which He comes and rules. The enemy has no authority over you because you are no longer ruling; your Heavenly Father has taken position and now sits on the throne that you have created for Him and rules over your adversary. He controls the enemy that desires to bring harm to you. He speaks healing to your broken heart. He brings peace to a mind that's on the verge of a nervous breakdown. He puts a marriage back together. Your praise becomes a sweet aroma to His nostrils and he just can't stay away. You can send up a sweet-smelling savor to God; a scent that He is so attracted to, that you become irresistible to Him. Your praise when given unto the Lord has a fragrance just like the holy oil and incense used in the Tabernacle. It becomes a unique and unmistakable reminder that you have invited God to be in the midst with every breath of praise you offer. The nails were driven into Jesus' feet so that your steps could be ordered by the Lord. So that everyday when you get up and praise comes out of your mouth, your steps will be ordered of God. You don't have to see every step from where you are now to where you're going; all you need to see is the next step. Some of you are going to walk through territory you've never been in before--territory that might frighten you if you knew where God was taking you--but you're going to take the Word as a road map to conquer that territory step by step because God is guiding you. God bless you all. Carol
