The speech therapist has set up an email address at
Clearview for Kenn. She will check his email with him
at least once a week.

Anyone can send him pictures, jokes or just a message
to be read to him. It is kenn@kenn-info.org

Talk to him about motorcycles and rides,
camping or even hiking. Make sure you put your
first name and last so that when she reads it she
can tell him.

If you want to explain how you know
him that would be great. Thanks.

God is GOOD!!! He doesn't give us more than we can handle, but we tend to think we can't handle it. All we need to do is dig down deep inside of us and we do have the strength to handle whatever we need to. It might not be easy but we can do it. The Winrich family get together on Sat. was alot easier than I expected it to be. My emotions didn't come until Sat. night, when I was watching the movie, "Under the Mistletoe." Great movie. The family was in a car accident and the dad died. The mom had a hard time dealing with it. It hit so close to home. I could identify with what she was going through. She had a teenage son. It brought back memories and reminded me how much I miss Kenn. But it was a great movie anyway. Talking with one of my brother-in-laws on Sat., he told Jenny and I how we've blossomed since we've been going through all of this. Her and I agreed how can you not. We didn't want to live in self-pity. Anyway, the basement is almost done. Whoo Hoo0!!! The carpenter is planning on finishing up tomorrow. The 2 south windows got put in yesterday. Whoo hooo!!!!! It looks so nice down there. It doesn't even look like our basement. I've never seen our basement with a ceiling before. The company doing the basement will be having open house here so anyone can come to see if if they would like. I will try to let you know when. We are getting excited to get Jeremy moved down there and clean out the TV room out back where he has been using for almost 3 years. He will be able to have some privacy and his own space again. Yeah!!! Getting the basement done has been alot of frustration for me and thrown me into a tizzy many times. I've wanted to yell and scream at people but haven't. I've really appreciated Shawn's input on it.. I've come to realize that if I could detach my emotions from my life it might be a little easier to make some of the decisions, but that's not possible, so life goes on.
Sun. afternoon when I was with Kenn, he was alert. He did act like he was listening to 2 songs on a CD by Benny Hinn on healing. The 2 songs were talking about healing. His eyes were open and he was staring just like he used to before his accident when he would pay attention. God has kept him so healthy he hasn't had a cold or flu at all. God is so good. WOW!! Brenda the nurse, told me that an activity person, took him downstairs to work with him on Sat. and he was awake for the whole time, which he has never done before. I took him outside for a short time to get fresh air. The other nurses are saying he seems to be more alert lately. Next month the milestone we hit is 3 years. Doesn't seem like it's been that long and other times it seems longer than that. Thank you for the continued prayers, we sure can use them. Praise be to God!!! Blessings on all of you.
