I just want to brag about God!! God is so good and gracious. I am so blessed. We ended up
having almost 15 people here for Thanksgiving supper. It went real good and it's great to have leftovers now. No emotional times. It was nice to see Mason again and to have him around for awhile. Jeremy's surgery on his right knee went great yesterday morning. He's feeling better than we thought he would. By last night I was so glad to go to bed because I was so exhausted from all the extra activity going on the last 3 days. I was going to write this last night but I was having a problem doing any thing except what I absolutely had to. I talked to Kenn on the phone on Thanksgiving afternoon when Esther and Russell were there to visit him on their way through. I guess Mason pulled Kenn's nose and it woke him up otherwise they said he just wanted to sleep most of the visit. I also want to say thank-you to Dave and Brenda for visiting Kenn on their way through the area Thanksgiving night and for praying with him. I have read something interesting in my devotional book and agree with it. It says, "Paul and Silas were in prison and started praising God. Their praise dictated to their circumstance, not the other way around. The circumstance they were in had no authority over them because of their praise. Praise is powerful when understood and practiced. It's the difference between victory and defeat. Only a trusting heart will allow praise to fill your mouth when circumstances have pushed you to the breaking point." I can tell you this is true in my case since Kenn's accident. I am so glad I didn't allow the circumstances to take over my life but decided to praise my GOD because it is so worth it. God has made me realize Kenn can't come home yet because He isn't finished working with him and that's OK. I haven't gotten upset about it. God has been very gracious and kept me calm. He's assured me that He knows my desire is to have Kenn back home and he will be before long.
Kenn will be moving up to 3 west floor on Tues. Dec. 4 . His new room number after the move will be 310west. The rooms are supposed to be bigger than the one he's in now. It sounds like he might be having a new roommate which will be good. God is good and merciful. There is so much to thank and praise Him for.
