Sunday, 7/2
Well, many of you may be wondering how the hearing
went on Friday morning.  The judge told us he
wouldn't have a decision for 2-3 weeks, which is really
frustrating for me.  The director, Liz Crothers, from
the group home testified and did a great job.  She spoke
of how if they were using clay one day for activities
they could put a piece of it in Kenn's hands and help
him move it around.  They could also do some range of motion
exercises with the clay in his hand.   She also told about
the rude remark that the insurance adjuster made to her
in a phone conversation about me.   She had said that I
couldn't afford a lawyer and that it would be an up hill
battle.   Little did she know that God would provide a
great lawyer to help me fight her and her insurance company.
I tend to think that remark hurt their side because
the judge heard it too.  After the director's testimony I
wanted to stand up and shout that I'm moving him there
right away.  I think if all of you could have heard Liz's
testimony I think you would agree, let's move him there.  
The Workman's Compensation lawyer had Dell Nesgood testify.
They brought up alot of old stuff from last year.   She hadn't
seen this year's medical files on Kenn obviously.   Her
concerns were still much the same as before.  If I had a
chance I could have shot down her concerns.  My lawyer didn't
have me say any more this time.  My 2 boys and Russell were
in the room for support and to hear what was said.  
After the hearing was over I cried.  I was so emotionally
drained and had a headache.  My lawyer tends to think we'll
come out good.   When I am having a hard time dealing with
things either I go in the pool in the backyard which has
become my oasis or I sit and play Solitaire.
On Friday night the 30th I finally got front steps back
on, going up to the front door, so we don't have to walk
the plank to get to the door.  Shawn put the old ones back
on for now.  It's so much easier now with steps.  I
don't feel like a pirate walking the plank. 
As for Kenn, he's been doing more neurostorming this past
week and we aren't able to figure out why.
Even the nurses are stumped.
