Monday, June 26, 2006 update

Monday 6/26
Kenn has been doing good.  Wednesday when I visited
him he slept most of the time and when he did open
his eyes he seemed in a daze because they had given
him Valium for his neurostorming.  It's a small dose
but it seems to stop his neurostorming almost
instantly, which is something new they started him on. 
One of the side effects is, he then wants to sleep.
He went with no neurostorming until early Sunday morning
after they had given him something to have a bowel
movement.  They gave him a small dose of Valium
so when I was there early afternoon on Sunday he wanted
to sleep most of the time.  I did give him a haircut while
he was up in his chair and trimmed his moustache though.
He was scheduled to have an EEG to measure his brain
activity this morning. 
As for where are we at with the foundation work, Shawn
was able to borrow a bobcat from work.  He proceeded to
push the dirt back in the trench around the house on
Friday night and Saturday. He finished Saturday night
before it had rained much.  Now that it has rained so much
on Sunday it's so muddy around the house!  What a mess.
I'm so glad the foundation is done.  I was out helping dig
on Friday and Saturday so I'm exhausted.   We will need
some black dirt brought in because so much of the dirt is
clay.  I'm not sure what the next step is except to get
some kind of front steps put on.
Thanks for all the extra prayers. 
This Friday morning the 30, at 9:30 a.m. is my hearing
with Workman's Comp. judge again.  There is to
be a few people testifying.  Pray that God's will be done in that
situation.  That the judge would say he deserves a chance to recover
more in a brain injured group home.
