The speech therapist has set up an email address at
Clearview for Kenn. She will check his email with him
at least once a week.

Anyone can send him pictures, jokes or just a message
to be read to him. It is kenn@kenn-info.org

Talk to him about motorcycles and rides,
camping or even hiking. Make sure you put your
first name and last so that when she reads it she
can tell him.

If you want to explain how you know
him that would be great. Thanks.

Tuesday June 7th update

The orthopedic doctor checked Kenn's right
shoulder this morning and did not find a
change. Kenn does not seem to be in pain at this time.

At the staff meeting, they said he is
maintaining 176-178 lbs. It seems the
physical therapists are seeing the most progress,
which is just a little. His 3:00 p.m. therapy
session is where they see the change. He has
graduated from the tilt table to the stand table.
They have seen him hold his head up more
and on one occassion he moved his left arm so he could
pick up a cone with his left hand. They have
him sit on the edge of a mat with help and he
holds his head in an upright position some.
Some days he doesn't do as well as others.

The recreational therapist has taken him outside.
On two different occasions he has turned
his head to the right, otherwise it is
usually to the left. Once was to see the cycles
going past and a truck. The other time she
was talking on his right side about things
and finally he turned to look at her talking.

They told me the stay at Clearview is projected
to be 5-11 additional months from now. The
therapist is happy to see him getting emails,
so keep them up.

Please continue to pray for his recovery.
A doctor is noted to feel very doubtful that
Kenn will attain independent staus at any time.
We know that God can, and does the impossible
if we don't limit Him. God has done so much to
get Kenn this far.

Carol
