The speech therapist has set up an email address at
Clearview for Kenn. She will check his email with him
at least once a week.

Anyone can send him pictures, jokes or just a message
to be read to him. It is kenn@kenn-info.org

Talk to him about motorcycles and rides,
camping or even hiking. Make sure you put your
first name and last so that when she reads it she
can tell him.

If you want to explain how you know
him that would be great. Thanks.

Saturday, 4/16/05 Update

On Thursday 4/14/05, we had Kenn transferred to Clearview Rehab
Center in Juneau, WI.

They had given him some pain medicine to make the trip more
endurable.

He had his eyes closed part of the ride.

I was holding his left hand in the ambulance during the ride and
he moved his left wrist some which I have not seen him do before.

After we got him to Clearview, he just wanted to sleep.

The therapists will try to assess him on Friday.

To get to Clearview Rehab Center you take highway 151 North to
highway 33 which is arouond Beaver Dam. Turn right on highway
33 and then right on highway 26.

Clearview is just north of Juneau. The building is on the left
side of the road and it's the north building that he's in.

It's not a nursing home at all but a building where you can go for
rehab because of a brain injury.

From Madison it's only about 45 minutes away depending on traffic.

They wanted him to be moved closer to home since he is responding
more to family than therapists, plus we can visit more often.
