The speech therapist has set up an email address at
Clearview for Kenn.  She will check his email with him
at least once a week.

Anyone can send him pictures, jokes or just a message
to be read to him.  It is kenn@kenn-info.org

Talk to him about motorcycles and rides,
camping or even hiking.  Make sure you put your
first name and last so that when she reads it she
can tell him.

If you want to explain how you know
him that would be great.  Thanks.

Monday and Tuesday Update

Kenn was transferred on Monday to Sacred Hearts Rehabilitation Institute from the University Hospital. He was transferred via ambulance with Carol by his side. He had his eyes open for most of the trip. As Carol held his hand he started moving his thumb as if carressing her hand. Carol has noticed more facial movement ( furrowing his brow) and finger movement. He has also shed a tear on a couple of occassions. Kenn seemed very tired after he arrived in his new room. He slept for the rest of the day. On Tuesday evening Carol was moistening his mouth with water and he did swallow some of it. Kenn continues to be fed through a feeding tube. When stimulated with a pinch he made a sound. Kenn still does not focus on what he is looking at but seems more aware of the people surrounding him. We are excited for the healing that God has begun in Kenn and thankful for each one of you who are praying for him. Carol is very aware of how God is moving in and through this situation and wants each one of you to know how grateful she is for your prayers for her family and on Kenn's behalf.

  • Carol, Shawn, and family, this last report is most encouraging. It gives life to the saying, "Little things mean a lot." Our prayers continue for Kenn and all of you during this crisis. Sometimes it must seem that you are asked to endure more than the human heart is capable of. For those times especially--we petition the Almighty for the blessing of peace upon you.
