On Sunday Dad's condition hasn't changed much.
He still has not reached an awake level of
consciousness.
The pressure monitor was removed from his
head. He is scheduled for a tracheotomy
on Monday which is a breathing tube in his
lower throat. He will also get a feeding tube
in his belly. Then the tubes will be removed
from his nose and his mouth. He is yawning
and coughing, and turning his head side to
side a little bit. He has a little bit of a
response to pain stimulation. His vital
signs look good. The next level of consciousness
he hopefully will reach is where he can respond to
commands to hold up 2 fingers etc.
Please continue to pray for a miraculous
100% recovery.

Dear Shawn, you are doing a marvelous job keeping us up-to-date regarding your dad's condition. Our hearts go out to you, and the whole family during this time of great stress, apprehension, and sadness. We pulled out a few of our Lake City Rider albums, and there you were---with Kenn, Jenni, Carol, Stan, and Dawn. Happy times, to be cherished. Continuing in prayer for Kenn and all of you,
Bob and Marianne Jensen
